Enjoy a 3-hour tour from Anchorage to the Whittier Cruise Terminal. Traveling on the scenic Seward Highway and through the stunning Portage Pass. Your driver will guide you through the history of the Turnagain Arm, Portage Pass, and Whittier. From the Indigenous people who first lived there, English exploration of the area, to the discovery of gold, and how the Strange town of Whittier got it's start.
This tour includes a stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. The nonprofit center that is dedicated to preservation, education, research, and animal care. The center takes in injured and orphaned animals to rehabilitate and provide permanent homes at the center.
The tour ends at the Whittier Cruise Terminal for you to board your cruise ship.
